As part of a university placement, I was based at Cowes, Philip Island, for 3 weeks during February 2018. Being in such a picturesque location meant that there were plenty of opportunities of landscape photography (when I wasn't too tired from work that is!).
The gallery below details some of the locations I visited. These include the Pyramid Rock Lookout, the beach at Cowes, Summerlands (near the Penguin Parade) and Cape Woolamai.
I primarily utilized long exposure photography techniques to increase the sense of scale and movement that may otherwise be lost in a static photograph. The Olympus Live Composite feature was also quite helpful in generating a unique look to cloud movements, as can be seen in several photographs below.
Equipment used includes: Olympus OMD EM10 with the 12-40 F2.8 (and Hoya ProND1000) and the Sony A7II with the 28mm F2.
Images processed in Adobe Lightroom Classic CC. I have also tried to export the images differently this time so hopefully they would not take too long to load (when compared to previous pages).
