The city center. Due to aviation restrictions, the maximum height of the buildings allowed in this area is 280m

Looking north, the Esplanade can be seen in the foreground, along with the ION Orchard shopping mall further away (the tall tower in the middle).
---

Container ships parked in the Singapore Strait awaiting goods.
---

The Marina Barrage
---

Looking east, the brand new Singapore Indoor Stadium at Kallang can be seen to dominate the foreground. The large number of government and private housing apartments can be seen stretching into the distance. In the upper left, the Paya Lebar airbase can be seen, providing some empty land in this heavily dense city.
---

The Singapore Flyer, formerly the largest observation wheel in the world.
---

Another view looking east. The sea of high density apartments stretches all the way to Changi.
---

Singapore's Gardens by the Bay conservatory domes. These massive climate controlled domes allow plants which may not ordinarily survive in the hot tropical environment to grow within Singapore.
---

A small part of Singapore's massive container port. As a small nation with few natural resources, these container ports serve as the lifeblood of the country, allowing for the import and export of massive amounts of goods from around the world.
---

Alternate view looking at the container port. This time with many people at the infinity pool of Marina Bay Sands soaking in the magnificent views.
